To resist the devil, be ready to relocate. God will always give you the strength to endure the test, and he will provide you a way of escape. Taking the route of escape will rid you of the consequences that accompany poor choices.

“Every test that you have experienced is the kind that normally comes to people. But God keeps his promise, and he will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to the test, he will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out (GNT 1 Corinthians 10:13.”

LET’S PRAY

Lord God, forgive me for getting entangled into the snares of temptation. I recognize that Satan is the source of temptation, but you will keep your promise by providing me a way of escape each time I am tempted.

I ask for forgiveness of my sins and the poor choices that I have made. Anoint me to resist temptation so that I may focus on my true calling and purpose in life, in the name of Jesus, amen.
