About High Hopes Church
It is from the scriptural premise of Luke 4:16-19, that we derive the following statement of our vision:
The vision of High Hopes Church is to bring the hope of Jesus Christ with encouragement to a people who are in need of hope. When hope is restored, people will see a picture, a blueprint, a vision or a dream that is suddenly within their reach, through the power of God.
As we teach the Word of God to people, their hope will be restored, their minds will be renewed, they will be set free and taught how to stay free. Then, the change in them will be a lasting change, so they are people who no longer live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
From this statement we draw four strategic mission objectives:
To concentrate on renewing the minds of the people (Romans 12:1-2)
To restore hope to the people (Romans 15:4)
To see the people set free, and then teach them how to stay free (John 8:31-32)
To demonstrate our faith by deeds and actions of obedience (James 2:14-26)
We value the individual, the family, the church, and the community.
