3. What will happen when I visit for the first time?
If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for awhile—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you.
4. What do I wear to attend your services?
You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our Weekend Services. Come in what is comfortable for you, because High Hopes is not about what you look like or what you wear.
5. What are your weekend services like?
Each weekend at High Hopes Church you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music and a practical, relevant message. You’ll also find a printed outline for notes in your worship guide that will help you make the most of each week’s teaching. At this time, we do not have a separate area for the children but when we do children will be well-cared for in a loving, quality nursery and fun-filled High Hopes Kids service.
6. Do you have a midweek service?
We have a dynamic mid-week service which focuses on worship and Bible study. Our special First Wednesday service occurs once a month and includes praise and worship, prayer and communion.
7. What about my children?
At High Hopes Church, your children are a top priority. We are in the process of finding a facilty and loving staff to accommondate our children. We offer a dynamic student ministry called High Hopes Students as well as life-changing ministry to students from junior high through college.
8. How can I meet others and get connected?
There are many ways to get involved. You can begin by attending our Church 101 Membership Class. Small groups are another great way to connect. In each of these, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith.
9. How can I be discipled and grow?
Our desire is to see you become a fully-devoted follower of Christ. Our Hope Track offers the tools necessary to make this happen in your life. From the initial decision to accept Jesus as your Lord to your involvement in life-changing ministry, we will lead you step-by-step from healing to growth and into leadership. Begin the process at our next Church 101 Membership Class.
10. Why do you have small groups?
As High Hopes Church grows, small groups will allow you to meet other members and develop relationships that will spur your relationship with God. Small groups will allow us to “stay small” and connected. Groups will be available for all ages and interests—there’s bound to be one that’s just right for you.
11. How can I get involved?
One of the easiest to get involved at High Hopes Church is to participate in Weekend Services, student meetings, and the Growth Track Seminars. Once you complete the Growth Track Seminars you will be ready to start serving in various areas according to the gifts and talents that God has given you. Getting involved will help you study the Bible, fellowship, and get the support you need to stay strong.
