Ministry to the Poor, Elderly &  Disabled

At High Hopes Church, ministry to the poor, elderly, and disabled is an extension of the ministry of Jesus Christ.  I John 3:17-19 reads, "If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence." (NIV)

Our mission for the Ministry to the Poor, Elderly, and Disabled is to provide acts of kindnesses through home chores, preparing a meal, or paying a utility bill.  The bible teaches us to help those in need.

  • Whoever is kind to the needy honors God (Proverbs 14:31).
  • Prov. 28:27 He who gives to the poor will lack nothing, but he who closes his eyes to them receives many curses. (NIV)
  • Prov. 29:7 The righteous care about justice for the poor, but the wicked have no such concern.
  • Prov. 31:9 Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.

The Holy Spirit will move on your heart to sow into the Ministry to the Poor, Elderly, and Disabled either with your time or your finances.  If you desire to be a part of the Ministry to the Poor, Elderly, and Disabled, send your comments to info@highhopeschurch.org.

because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor;... (Luke 4:18)"
