Updated: Apr 6, 2020
Welcome to Day 2 of 21 Days of Prayer! This time of year can be challenging for many people. Adjusting schedules, busy traffic, budgeting and shopping for back-to-school clothes and other supplies, the effects of changing weather, pressure in the workplace and testy attitudes can all be summed up in one word - stressors!
Yet, we must remind ourselves that God is willing and ready to step in. He is waiting for you to answer his invitation. He says, "And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me (Psalm 50:15)."
Be encouraged! You don't have to face trouble, stress and pressure alone. If you accept God's invitation, make Him part of your daily routine, He will step in, deliver you from all stressors and you will glorify Him!
LET'S PRAY TO DE-STRESS THE STRESSORS:
Lord, in the name of Jesus, I accept your invitation. You are welcome in my home, on my job, in my relationships and in my heart .
I call to You for wisdom. Give me the mind of Christ. Deliver me from unacceptable speech, worry, and stressors that serve as dream killers.
Show me how to answer when I am challenged.
Watch over me, my family and my friends. I pray for strength that comes from You.
Give me a conscious that is based on Your Word;
Courage derived from faith;
Calmness that flows from Your love;
AND sweet victory that results in Your presence.
I praise You for the peace that is surging over me now. Thank you for hearing my prayer, delivering me from stressors, comforting me in the midst of worry and giving me a heart that glorifies You! Today, I am encouraged, in the name of Jesus, amen.
