Welcome to day 38 of our 40 day countdown to Easter 2019! Trust & Obey the Instructions. There was a new pilot who for the first time, flew his private plane into the clouds during bad weather. He began to panic because he would have to trust the instrument panel for safe navigation through the storm.

But having zero visibility in a storm was nothing like his training in the flight simulator. He was flying blind and fear gripped his heart. Suddenly, his radio crackled to life. It was the control tower. In a calm but very firm voice, the air traffic controller said, "You just obey instructions, we'll take care of the obstructions."

When you don't understand what or why something is going on, trust God like the pilot had to trust the air traffic controller. Obey the instructions and let God take care of the obstructions.

Here's one of my favorite passages that you can read, study and mediate on: Proverbs 3:5-8

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

Let's Pray...

Lord God, in my times of doubt, I will trust in You. Holy Spirit, help me to lean not on my own understanding but trust in the Lord. Holy Spirit, help me to obey the instructions and have faith in God that He will handle the obstructions, in the name of Jesus, amen.
