In My Mother’s Womb

Day 18 of 21 Days of Prayer. Heavenly Father, “You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb (Psalm 139:13, NLT).” God, my mother doesn’t know it yet, but I can hear her voice. I can hardly wait to meet her so that I can learn how to communicate with her. Although I cannot form the words, I do understand because you created me in my mother’s womb.

You created my distinctive voice in my mother’s womb.

You gave me arms to reach and legs to walk in my mother’s womb.

You gave me beautiful eyes so that I could see in my mother’s womb.

When I am hungry, you feed me in my mother’s womb.

You carefully crafted all of my organs to work in harmony in my mother’s womb

You filled me with greatness and destiny in my mother’s womb.

Unfortunately, my dreams and purpose in life may never be known because abortion is legal where my Mommie lives.

On yesterday, a bill was signed to legalize abortion up until birth without any restrictions. Also, non-medical professionals are now authorized to abort babies, like me, without being held criminally liable.

God, I cannot speak for myself, so I pray that your children will speak up for me. If they do not, I know I’ll still have a place in your kingdom. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous--how well I know it (PSALM 139:14).

Thank you, Heavenly Father, for creating me in your image, in my mother’s womb.

Love,

Unborn Child

OUR ASSIGNMENT

2 Chronicles 7:14 If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

People of faith all across the world, take a moment and pray for those who cannot pray for themselves. We have a responsibility to fight for the unborn. Satan comes to kill, steal, and destroy, but Jesus has come so that we might have life and life more abundantly (John 10:10). We also have a responsibility to pray for those who are being deceived by the rudiments of this world. Ask the Holy Spirit to touch the hearts of every woman who is contemplating abortion.

Pray for women who decide to abort their babies. Pray that they will be made whole again through Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior. Forgive them for their sin, O’ God! Forgive us of our sin, O’ God! Forgive this country of sin, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
