“I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14 NIV).”

REFLECTION

Be encouraged and remain in the race of faith. Keep pressing forward to make progress on what God has called you to do. Stop looking around observing what everyone else is doing and focus on what God has called you to do.

“I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back (Philippians 3:14, MSG).”

You may be wondering, "What is "Pi"?

Basically, Pi is a numerical constant that represents the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter on a flat plane surface. Regardless of the size of the circle, the value is the same - 3.14. International Pi Day is celebrated on March 14, today. The Greek letter represents a constant. Supposedly, no matter the size of a circle, they all come out to approximately 3.14.

Today, we strive to remain constant on the path that God has placed us according to Philippians 3:14. This is our Pi from God.

He is reminding us to keep our eyes on Jesus Christ no matter the distractions because he is a constant and he will deliver what he has promised.
