DAILY DEVOTION

2 Timothy 2:20-21

In a wealthy home some utensils are made of gold and silver, and some are made of wood and clay. The expensive utensils are used for special occasions, and the cheap ones are for everyday use. If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.

REFLECTION

His promises are for those who believe in the redeeming work of Jesus Christ.

God’s perspective of us elevates to the heavens. If only we could see ourselves as God sees us…through the eyes of love.

You are made of gold and silver. You have a wealthy inheritance. Don’t allow the wood and clay to cheapen your life in Christ Jesus.

Purify yourself. Cleanse your life to be ready for the Master to use you the way He made you.

God made you an expensive utensil for specials occasions.

Don't settle for the wood and clay events in your life.

CONFESSION

I want to encourage you to make the following confession throughout the day:

Holy Spirit, cleanse me of the wood and clay in my life. I am an expensive utensil in the hands of Almighty God ready to be used for His good work.

PRAYER DIRECTIVE

Ask the Lord to reveal to you ways you can reflect his love to others.
