DAILY DEVOTION
John 10:10
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
Romans 12: 2
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, in order to prove by you what is that good and pleasing and perfect will of God.
REFLECTION
Your identity in Christ is what matters the most. Satan has not changed his strategy, which is to steal your identity and destroy your hope for change. If you find yourself focusing on past sins, eventually you illuminate your past and begin to believe the lies that Satan will tell you about yourself.
To break this cycle of thinking you have to experience a radical transformation through renewed thinking. You will become what you focus on the most.
Romans 12: 2

To renew your mind you must die to your old self and embrace God’s grace for your life. Allow the Holy Spirit to saturate your heat with God’s word.
Renewing your mind is a three-step process: information, revelation, and application.
Information is the reading of the word.
Revelation occurs when you mediate on the word. Ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes and heart so that you can experience the length, depth, breath, and height of God’s word.
Application of the word is what destroys the works of Satan. The word of God must become applicable in your life. This is how you protect your identity in Christ Jesus.
Information, revelation, and the application of God’s word is a necessary process to transforming your life and protecting your identity in Christ.
