DAILY DEVOTION

“My soul, wait silently for God alone,

For my expectation is from Him.

He only is my rock and my salvation;

He is my defense; I shall not be moved.

In God is my salvation and my glory;

The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is in God.

Trust in Him at all times, you people;

Pour out your heart before Him;

God is a refuge for us. “

Psalm 62:5-9

REFLECTION

The safe haven that you’re looking for can only be found through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. God is our refuge of love. Spend some quiet time with God. Give your heart and mind to him so that the Holy Spirit can renew you.

Once your soul is renewed, release His glory to make a difference in the lives of others.

PRAYER DIRECTIVE

Declare (say aloud)… I am loved by God.

God is my rock.

God is my salvation.

My expectation comes from God.

God is my defense in time of trouble.

I shall not be moved because my God is my rock and fortress.

God is the rock of my strength and my glory.

I put my trust in you, God, because you are my refuge, my safe haven, my strength.

Holy Spirit, brew over my mind, my thoughts, my attitude, and my emotions.

Let me reflect God’s glory in my life today to be a blessing to someone else.
