Unpolluted by Grace

Updated: Apr 6, 2020

When life becomes so polluted and difficult to live, look up and accept the transforming power of God’s grace. God’s grace is a free offer in exchange for our sins. Grace does not excuse us from sin, but grace frees us from sin. “Grace is God reaching downward to a people who are in rebellion against Him (Jerry Bridges)”. Grace is God’s unconditional love toward anyone who does not deserve it. That includes all of us.

Grace makes the unclean, clean; the wicked, righteous; and the unjust, just. Grace does not permit hypocrisy, but makes us the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus. We are unpolluted by grace.

The bible is filled with the promises of grace embodied in Jesus Christ. Grace is the foundation of our identity. “I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment (I Corinthians 1:10 ESV)”.

Without grace, we are all lost. Because of grace, we live through Jesus Christ and are partakers of the precious promises of God.

  • God’s grace is sufficient for me (2 Corinthians 2:8-9).

  • We are all justified by grace (Romans 3:20-24).

  • Grace is ours through faith (Romans 1:1-5).

  • God’s grace and power gives us strength to perform good works (Acts 6:8).

  • Everything we accomplish is only by the grace of God. (Ephesians 4:7).

  • Grace is our strength for living. “…For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace (Hebrews 13:9)."

  • We are saved by grace, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).

  • Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord (2 Peter 1:2).

  • No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are (Acts 15:11).

Share with someone the good news of God’s grace embodied in Jesus Christ.

Remember, JESUS SAVES!

LET’S PRAY

Father God, thank you for the transforming power of Your grace in exchange for our sins. I pray for those that are lost and unaware that grace is a free offer in exchange for their sins. I pray that many will be saved by grace through faith during this season of prayer and fasting, in the name of Jesus, Amen!
