It's day 11 of 21 Days of Prayer. If someone asks what you are doing, tell them we are praying for God's intervention into our lives. Life without the reality and presence of God, is mundane and one dimensional. Thinking humanity is "all there is" has repeatedly left us disappointed. Life without God leads men to an arrogant disposition, void of compassion, truth and faith. But the Bible and its principles is our map to our Creator. "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God (I Corinthians 1:18)."
We have acknowledged that life is not limited to the natural. We are spiritually beings, created by a living God, who fuels our thirst for purpose and destiny. "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:14-16).
OUR PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank you for showing your love toward me by sending your only begotten son to save us all. I confess that Jesus is Lord of my life and I believe in my heart that You raised him from the dead. It is through this process that I am a Christian and I am not ashamed to show my love for you everywhere I go! Give me the wisdom to see my calling and to make Your selection of me sure. It is with confidence that I accept Your promise in I Corinthians 2:9 ~ Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. Today, I will let my light shine for all to see. In Jesus's name, Amen!
