Greetings To All! We're on day 6 of 21 days of prayer. Are you sanctified or sophisticated? Galatians 5:22-23 declares, "the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control." The more sanctified you are the more the fruit of the Spirit will grow freely in you. The more sophisticated you are the more you fit right into the world through lust, faithlessness, selfishness, self-absorption and the love of money. The fruit of sophistication rots the fruit of the Spirit, leaving many people with the title of Christian but denying faith in Christ by the lifestyle they practice. Too many people tell themselves they can't live the clean and honest life God asks us to live. But in truth, it's not that they can't, it's that they are not ready to face the pain, discomfort and inconvenience of change. But if you sincerely love God and want His will to be done in your life, I'm telling you ~ You CAN do it!
Are you willing
to face the pain,
discomfort and
inconvenience of change?
Say this prayer: Lord, I am truly sincere about my faith in You. Help me to grow in the fruit of the Spirit, living sanctified in thought, deed, and witness. Deliver me from sophistication and move me to sanctification. I ask You to release the fruit of the Spirit into my life! I declare that my lifestyle is marked by love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Today, I forsake sophistication, worldliness and pride so that I may live sanctified, making the kind of choices that sets me apart to honestly represent Your kingdom agenda. I stand on Philippians 4:13, which tells me, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Therefore, I believe I CAN do this and I know I will. Thank you Lord for giving me a clean heart and a clean mind, so that I may live a clean life. In Jesus's Name, Amen!
