Even As Your SOUL Prospers

Sunday, January 29, 2017

Dear Friend, this is day 20 of 21 Days of Prayer. "I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit (III John 1:2 NLT)." God wants to close the gap between your spiritual life and natural life. God is concerned about the well-being of your soul, hence, your mind, will, and emotions.

The Mind

The mind represents your thinker. Proverbs 23:7 states, "As a man thinks in his heart so is he." The way you behave has everything to do with the way you think.

The Will

The will represents your chooser. "This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live (Deuteronomy 30:17)." God really makes it simple for us. Choose life. Choose the thing that will breathe life into your purpose. Every decision you're presented with, every choice you make will either breathe life into you or draw life from you. So, choose wisely and choose life so that your soul will prosper.

The Emotions

The emotions represent your feeler. It's how we react to what we hear or think "As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full (John 15:9-11)." The key to a healthy emotional life is to have a loving soul. Love is as love does. Love seals the gap between your spiritual life and your natural life because love is the solution to all of life's problems.

A prosperous soul is a soul whose mind is ruled by love; whose chooser is ruled by love; and whose feeler is ruled by love. This my friend will give you a prosperous and secure life.

OUR PRAYER

Heavenly Father, thank you for loving me. Thank you Jesus for loving me. Holy Spirit, touch my heart so that joy may be in my soul and that my soul may be healthy, whole, and complete in Christ Jesus. In the name of Jesus, amen.
