Happy New Year! And welcome to Day 1 of 21 Days of Prayer. To effectively cross over from one year to the.next, we need vision for the transition.

Proverbs 29:18 says "...without a vision, the people perish."

Habbakuk 2:2, "...Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it."

In other words, a productive and meaningful transition requires a clear and distinctive vision. Without clarity about where you're heading in the new year, you will wander around,.drifting and uncertain until finally, you cast off restraint or as Proverbs 29 says, without vision people will ultimately perish. That is not God's will for your life.

But if you can write the vision, it will speak clarity, allowing you to understand and be at peace about where you're going and what you'll be doing. Pray. Seek the Lord's voice for guidance and instruction. Ask Him to give you vision for the transition.

Lord, today I pray for sight to see the blueprint, the dream, the vision of your heart for my life. I am not afraid and I am not ashamed. I commit every day, every week, every month, every quarter of 2019 into Your hands. Let me see the role I play in Your kingdom agenda. I ask for specific instruction on my life. I open my heart to receive my assignment. Anoint me to believe and receive the vision of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. I commit my home, my health, my finances, and my agenda to You. And I accept Your vision for my transition in 2019.
